How to pick a Daily Fantasy Sports Defender:

Fullbacks are the way to go when picking defenders for daily fantasy leagues. The more attack minded the defender is the better it can be for you. The reason behind this is because of the amount of points you can get from a defender, especially from crossing. Every cross is worth +0.75 so if you have a fullback who likes to play high up the field such as Baines at Everton and Kyle Walker now at Man City you can rack up the points just from their crosses. If one of those crosses ended up at one of their team mates who then scores you would then get +6 points for an assist. Also you can score points from every time a defender wins a tackle (+1) and intercepts a pass (+0.5). However full backs usually have a higher price in the games so if you are looking for a cheaper option Centre Backs may be best. Some Centre Backs are huge goal threats from set plays so there price may be low but the reward may be high if they end up on the score sheet.

Another good option is to pair one of your defenders with your goalkeeper because if the team wins and gets a clean sheet (+3 points for a defender) that will be more points for you.
