DraftKings English Premier League DFS Lineup Picks for Saturday’s Action – Our Top 5 Player Picks for Week 3.

Picks by Lewis @EPLDFS

Saturday 10:00am ET Kick-Offs

Games:
Huddersfield V Southampton
Newcastle V West Ham
Watford V Brighton
Man Utd V Leicester (Late Kick-Off)

Top 5 Picks

GK – Gomes ($5,300) kept a clean sheet in last weekends game against Bournemouth and you expect him to gain another one this weekend at home to Brighton. Brighton have not scored in the Premier League yet this season and you expect Watford to be favorites again this weekend. The only downside could be the lack of saves made but he looks good for the clean sheet and win bonuses.

D- Van Aanholt ($5,300) loves to get forward and deliver crosses. This weekend’s game against Swansea will give him the chance to do that. In game week one against Huddersfield he made 10 crosses and had 3 shots with 1 on goal. Last week was a much quitter game for Van Aanholt up against a very attacking Liverpool side in which he still scored 6 points. I expect him to return to his week one performance against a Swansea side who are struggling without Sigurdsson.

M – Mkhitaryan ($8,600) struggled in the Premier League last season but has been on top form in the first 2 games this term. Mkhitaryan created two assists in United’s 4-0 Victory over Swansea last weekend. He has created a great partnership with Lukaku and they are causing defenses all kinds of problems. Expect Mkhitaryan to create chances again this weekend at home to Leicester.

F- Chicharito ($7,000) scored 2 goals against Southampton in Saturdays 3-1 defeat. He also put in five crosses and took three shots on his way to 32.8 points last weekend. Chicharito’s next game is against Newcastle who have conceded 3 goals this season and haven’t fully settled into Premier League life. Chicharito is one of the best finishers in the Premier League and he will get chances to score again this Saturday.

Cheap Option – Carroll  ($3,700) after Sigurdsson’s big money move to Everton, Carroll has taken over his role in attacking midfield and is now on set pieces. Carroll made six crosses on his way to 10 points against a good Man Utd team where Swansea lost 4-0 last weekend. Up against a weaker side in Crystal Palace this weekend we can see him hitting double figures again. Putting Carroll in your team will open up more salary to spend elsewhere.

Good Luck in this weekends games. Let us know if you like the look of any other players. Post your thoughts in the comments section below.

DraftKings English Premier League DFS Lineup Picks for Saturday’s Action – Our Top 5 Player Picks for Week 2.

Picks by Lewis @EPLDFS

Saturday 10:00am ET Kick-Offs

Games:
Burnley V West Brom
Leicester V Brighton
Liverpool V Crystal Palace
Southampton V West Ham
Stoke V Arsenal (Late Kick-Off)

The Premier League season started last week with an end to end 4-3 game between Arsenal and Leicester. This set the scene for the rest of the weekend with goals, red cards and shock shorelines. Here is our top 5 player picks for this weekends games.

Top 5 Picks

GK – Schmeichel ($5,400) after conceding 4 goals at Arsenal last Friday night it wasn’t an ideal start to the season for him. However, he did make 6 saves to make up for the goals conceded. Playing at home against a Brighton and Hove Albion side who set up defensively I can see Schmeichel getting points, especially the Win and Clean sheet bonuses.

D- Bertrand ($5,400) had a fantastic start to the Premier League season and surpassed his average points tally from last season easily. Bertrand delivered 6 crosses, four of which created chances. Bertrand played as a wing back therefore spending a lot of time further up the field and it looks like Southampton will set up that way again this weekend. Bertrand was also on corner kick duty three times which could see his points and price rise over the next couple of weeks.

M – Mane ($8,600) got straight back to were he left off by terrorizing the Watford defense. Mane’s season ending injury last spring rocked Liverpool’s performances. However he was back to his best in week one, scoring a goal, taking 2 shots one of which was on target and creating chances for Liverpool. Up against a Palace side that conceded 3 goals to new boys Huddersfield you expect Mane to cause them all sorts of problems.

F- Lacazette ($9,000) had a perfect start to his Premier League career. He found the back of the net in under 2 mins and looked comfortable leading the Arsenal front line. Lacazette also linked up well with his new teammates by creating 3 chances and putting in 2 crosses. He certainly suits the Arsenal style of play and will score many more goals this season. Arsenal usually struggle at Stoke but I think they will have too much for them this weekend.

Cheap Option – Loftus-Cheek ($3,500) was heavily owned in the first week and it is tough to leave him out at such a small price. With a tough game at Liverpool he may not have a big week like he did in his first week but he has the potential to get a decent points tally for the price of $3,500. Playing further up the pitch gives him the chance to create chances and take shots. This week he may also have to play deeper which will then see points for interceptions come in to play.

Good Luck in this weekends games. Let us know if you like the look of any other players. Post your thoughts in the comments section below.

DraftKings English Premier League DFS Lineup Picks for Saturday’s Action – Our Top 5 Player Picks for Week 1.

Saturday 10:00am ET Kick-Offs

Games:
Chelsea V Burnley
Crystal Palace V Huddersfield
Everton V Stoke
Southampton V Swansea
West Brom V Bournemouth
Brighton V Man City (Late Kick-Off)

The Premier League season is back and so are we. Last season saw Chelsea walk away with the League and this year looks like it could be one of the closest seasons yet. Newcastle, Brighton and Huddersfield are the new boys to the Premier League and some of their players could bring up some seriously cheap options over the season.

Top 5 Picks

GK – Forster ($5,400) this is a pick against the norm. Up against Swansea who struggled last year and who may be without their top player Gylfi Sigurdsson, Forster looks a great price. Swansea will create chances, which hopefully will lead to lots of points from saves made. Forster’s Southampton will also be the favorites for this game so the win bonus could come into play.

D- Walker ($5,400) up against new boys Brighton it is hard to look past Kyle Walker. He is well known for getting up the pitch and offering support on the attacks. Especially after his big money move to Man City he is going to want to impress in his first league game for his new club. Walker was a key part to his old team Tottenhams defense over the years and I’m sure he will have a big season this year. I feel Man City will have far too much for Brighton so hopefully Walker will get the bonus points of a clean sheet too.

M – Willian ($8,300) with Hazard out injured it is hard to leave out Willian. Willian will slot in and take the place of Hazard on free kicks and corners. He will also be playing high up the pitch and will be delivering plenty of crosses. The Premier League Champions have a nice start at home against Burnley and they will want to get this season of to a flyer.

F- Aguero/Jesus ($10,200/$9,800) who ever starts out of these two put them in your team.  Again up against new boys Brighton you can’t help but think there are going to be a lot of goals in this game. I watched Brighton in a pre-season friendly at Norwich the other week and they were woeful. I think Man City will have far to much for them and which ever striker starts is going to have many chances in front of goal. Jesus scored 7 goals in just 8 Premier League starts last season but if Pep choses Aguero simply change them over.

Cheap Option – Mooy ($4,900) of new boys Huddersfield may be seen in this section for a few weeks to come. After a fantastic season last year in the Championship Huddersfield decided to turn Mooy loan deal into a permanent one. Mooy is basically the heart of the Huddersfield side and takes the majority of Huddersfield’s corners and free kicks. At this price and against Crystal Palace it is hard not to put him in the team.
