Top 5 Picks
GK
– Lossl ($4,800) made 5 saves
including a penalty save in Huddersfields 3-0 loss to Liverpool last Saturday.
Lossl is one of the lower priced goalkeepers this week and has 27 saves to his
name this season, which makes him the eighth highest in the Premier League.
Huddersfield have been a surprise package this season and are a team which are
tough to break down. This week they play West Brom at home who have only scored
9 goals in their first 10 games, 3 of which have been away from home. Lossl
looks a great price and will certainly have a few saves to make in Saturdays
game.
D-
Nyom ($4,500) should start at right back again for West Brom
this Saturday who play away at Huddersfield, which should be an evenly fought
contest. Nyom picked up only 4 points last week but it was a tough match up
against highflying Manchester City. This weeks fixture should give Nyom more of
a chance to get forward to join in with the attacks more often. In the game
week before against Southampton Nyom crossed the call 6 times and had a single
shot, that is nearer to the return I would expect to see this weekend.
M
– Salah ($10,800) who missed a penalty against this weeks GK
Lossl has been key to the way Liverpool have played this season. Despite missing a
penalty Salah had three shots on goal and gained an assist. Salah has been a
fantasy football dream so far this season and he will look to continue this
form away at West Ham. Salah has scored five goals so far this season in his
nine starts for new club Liverpool. He is also Liverpool’s leading shot taker
in the Premier League so far with 34 shots in his 10 games. His
pace is lethal and I think he will have plenty of chances this weekend.
F-
Abraham ($7,300) has been a bit hit and miss so far on daily
fantasy soccer. His last four weeks have been 2, 26, 6 and 10. Last week he
provided a nice through ball for Swanseas only goal in a 2-1 loss to Arsenal.
After just being called up to the England men’s senior side he will be playing with confidence. This weeks game against Brighton is a must win for both
sides. Brighton are hard to break down but when they push up they leave
themselves vulnerable at the back which will give Abraham many chances.
Hopefully this week will be another big week for the Swansea forward.
Cheap Option – Murray ($5,400) Tough to find a player this week that fits
this area. However, Murray has scored three in his last two games for Brighton
and comes up against a Swansea side who have conceded 12 in their first 10
games and sit one place above the bottom three. Murray should find himself the
target for Brighton’s crosses and hopefully he will get on the end of a couple
of crosses this weekend.
